The only photo of me and my first best friend Laura Aven. My birthday is April 2nd and
her's is April 1st..I'm one year older. She and her twin brother had 7 older sisters (I think). She had redish hair always cut in a boyish bowl style. We did our fair share throwing huge wads of wet toilet paper onto the ceiling of my sister's bathroom and waisting as many or our sister's maxi-pads as we could by making casts for our "broken" arms and legs. We took little Susan W. with us to break into a neighbors fence and sat at the edge and played on the stairs of a swimming pool..we were all found later- ALIVE. I remember the walk home and what I was wearing, I do not remember getting into trouble. I must of been 5, Laura 4 and Susan 3.

I moved across town when I was 7. I saw her again when I was about 11 and then one night in Buckhead when we were about 20. I did read about her and her brother in the Roswell Neighbor during our high school years. She went to Roswell and I went to Milton, rival high schools. She was Miss. Roswell High School during her Sr. Year. Her brother, Jimmy was the star quarterback on the varsity football team starting in 10th grade. We even dated the same guy, not at the same time.

I drove to the old neighborhood in November of 2005. I left my business card and a note to Laura in her parents mailbox saying to email me or call. She did email me in December. We emailed back in forth a few times, said we should do lunch. But we got busy. She was still in school . I need to send her an email.
