John's Pumpkin

The Monday before Halloween John had to take a pocket knife to the den meeting with him to earn his whittling chip. Carving things with a knife is not my area so I stayed home and Marc took him. I was so nervous.....I try to avoid the ER as much as possible.

I was expecting him to bring home something carved from a piece of wood or a bar of soap and a cut finger or two. I was pleasantly surprised when they brought home this cute pumpkin!!

What does one do at the crack of dawn on their 5th birthday??

Feed their new cats in their monkey slippers of coarse.

anna ( future liberal- I think) in the car: "ya know John, Barak Obama has the donkeys
and John McCain has the Elephants."

me: "So which one do you like?"

anna: " John McCain"

me: "because of the elephants?"

anna: "yes"

She loves elephants.

john: " I heard at school that if McCain wins he will close down Six Flags."

Anna's 5th Birthday

Hard to believe Anna turned 5 back on October 20th. I can't figure out if the 5 years went by fast or slow..hard to tell when there is an older brother.

We had her party at Build- A-Bear at the mall. Tons of fun for her and her friends.
It was kind if a far drive but worth it.

Fall Break Orlando Trip

We went to the Nick Hotel for a few days during fall break. The kids had a blast.

And poor John fell asleep reading one night. 3rd grade is hard work!!!
